I am licensed in the state of Oklahoma as a License Professional Counselor, License Professional Counselor Supervisor, Hypnotist, and a Alcohol Drug Substance Abuse Course Facilitator. I have 20 years of counseling experience. I enjoy helping my clients of all ages to overcome obstacles in their lives, healing in a positive manner. I use many interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy.

I am also a certified school psychometrist and a school psychologist. I use a variety of techniques and counseling methods to ensure that mental health goals are achieved. I serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the follow areas: Addictive Behaviors; Teen issues such as peer pressure and self esteem; Parent/Child or Partner Relational Problems; Obsessions and Compulsions; Mood Disorders; Personality Disorders; Anxiety Disorders; Conduct and Oppositional Defiant Disorders; Physical, Sexual, and Emotional Abuse; Anger and Stress Management; Dual Diagnosis; Christian Counseling; Marriage and Family Therapy. I am eclectic and use a blend of Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavior treatment; and am AutPlay certified.

Hi! My Name is Connie Ray and I am co-director of A Plus Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Oklahoma as a License Professional Counselor and License Alcohol Drug Counselor. I have 10 years of counseling experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, social behavior, crisis counseling, and alcohol and substance abuse counseling. I also am an Alcohol Drug Substance Abuse Course Assessor and Facilitator. I do classes and assessments for Alcohol Drug Substance Abuse in Poteau and Heavener.
